NY Metro Area APWU President explains nationwide job reversions

Jonathan Smith, New York Area Local President explains the nationwide downsizing of postal worker jobs.  He also reaches out to his union membership to make a stand and fight back.

Recently we told you about a Department of Labor report that in the next seven years there would be 136,000 fewer postal workers.  This figure includes a cutback of 26.2% postal clerks and 33.7% less workers in mail processing jobs.

Last week the APWU at the national level announced they were launching a campaign to combat the loss of jobs.  As more details become available we will share all we learn.
